The network is aimed at young professionals under the age of 35 working or living in Bath to grow their business networking skills.

As a member of the public, you can use many of the University's facilities, including The Edge arts hub, Sports Training Village, Library, Innovation Centre, and a range of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops catering for all tastes.


Open all week, the Sports Training Village is a sport and fitness centre with a gym, a swimming pool, and coaching, physiotherapy and sport science services.

Visit The Edge, our arts hub on campus, featuring dance, music, theatre, visual arts, science, film, classes and exhibitions.

We offer accommodation on the University campus or in Bath city centre in July and August. Bookings for summer will open in early 2025.

Join an active, creative environment at The Edge, where you can arrange talks or tours for local groups, hire rooms, and get a local residents' Art Pass.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a UK wide programme which enables companies to access knowledge, skills and technology from UK Universities.

Supporting the local economy

BRLSI supports the promotion and advancement of science, literature and art in Bath. We nominate two members of staff to sit as Directors on the Board at BRLSI.

This organisation celebrates and protects the city's status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One member of the University staff sits on the Advisory Board.

The Museum's aim is to encourage the enjoyment of art. We nominate one member of staff as a trustee of the Museum.

The Trust promotes high standards of planning and architecture in Bath through conservation, education and museums. We are corporate members of the Trust.

BIRD was formed in 1975 by the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) and the É«ÖÐÉ«. It became an independent charity in 1981.
